I'm an Ofsted Registered Specialist Childminder working from my country family home in the beautiful village of Shirwell,  a short drive from the North Devon District Hospitial in Barnstaple.

 

We offer Early Years Childcare and Pre-School Education with wrap-a-round holiday care for School Age Children.

 

Our unique homely setting has a warm and relaxed atmosphere where your child/ren will be nurtured and cared for by myself and my very experienced assistant along with my Husband, who plays a huge role in supporting and caring for our little ones.

 

We hold Paediatric First Aid qualifications to include using an Automated External Defibrillator. (AED) which we have in the village.

 

We cover a wide geographical area of North Devon to the Somerset borders including Barnstaple, Braunton, Ilfracombe, Combe Martin, Parracombe, Berrynarbor, East Down and every where in between.

We also have many international enquiries from families traveling back to the UK for work positions at our local Hospital and area.

 

We are Celebrating offering 'Double  Outstanding 2011 & 2015' & Good in 2022 childcare within the North Devon community for the past 28 years from our beautiful countryside family home here in Shirwell, just a five minute drive from Barnstaple.

With easy access for parents to deliver and collect.

 

Staff qualifications Level 3 in Early Years Care and Education, Level 3 in Children and Young People's Workforce. Paediatric First Aid & Defib,  Safeguarding and Food Hygiene plus many more.

 

Pets:

We have always felt that animals play a great part in a child's up bringing and furthers their knowledge and understanding of their world on so many levels. With this in mind we

encourage our family pets to be part of our childcare day with supervision.

We have a English Cocker Spaniel, 2 Cats and Tropical fish. ​
